Family Advisory Committee
Roger's House is committed to family-centered care and ensuring that the guests and their families are well looked after. One way that Roger's House gets feedback from families is through the Family Advisory Committee (FAC), which was formed in 2008 as a committee of the Board of Directors. It acts as an important integrative link for families of Roger's House, the Board and staff, providing families with a formal opportunity to share their views regarding the services of Roger's House and contribute to the development of programs.
The FAC meets bi-monthly, excluding summer months. It is made up of family members, a youth guest, staff members and at least one Board of Director, who acts as the committee chair. Below you will find the names of the family committee members.
Our Family Faculty participates in orientations and presentations to medical staff and the general public. Speakers provide a personal, family perspective on the services and care received at Roger's House.
